Restaurant Trail opens in Naples amid other food news
Le Colonial Chao Tom The Sustainable Restaurant Trail runs through Dec. 1 in Naples. The initiative was launched by Chef Kayla Pfeiffer and brings together 22 Naples restaurant locations, including her own concepts, Heyday, Bicyclette Cookshop and Thank You Kindly Cookshop. The Trail allows diners to visit participating restaurants, collect stickers on a custom illustrated map and discover the different ways local restaurants are making more thoughtful choices — from supporting local farmers, fishermen and makers to sourcing responsibly, cooking seasonally, reducing food waste and using more of each ingredient. Guests who complete all required Trail stops will also be eligible to win a private chef-residency dinner at Heyday.
